What is Searchwebmesh?
Searchwebmesh is a browser hijacker that can end up on your macOS device without your permission. Following stealthy infiltration, it messes up browser settings and forcibly sets its own search provider. It’s designed to generate revenue by a pay-per-click marketing scheme so you won’t get any benefits or improved search results from using it. Instead, you will be provided with altered search results filled with bogus links. The problem is that third-party content is not checked in any way, so there is a high risk to be landed on malicious domains after clicking on these fake results. Hence, we recommend you to remove Searchwebmesh from your browser. You can follow the manual removal guide presented below or use CleanMyMac to eliminate this threat automatically.
