What is CryptInfinite?
CryptInfinite threat is classified as a ransomware that is created with the purpose of pulling money out the victims. The text of the message will say that your personal files have been hijacked – they are now encrypted and non operational. CryptInfinite malware uses RSA-2048 key and adds .crinf extension to encrypted files. The ransomware message will also put information about the methods of file restoration – cyber criminals will demand money transfer through a PayPal MyCash voucher within 24 hours, or else all the hijacked files will be deleted. How to decrypt files infected by CryptInfinite?
After you’ve deleted Cryptinfinite threat, you may start restoring the encrypted files. Make sure that you’ve removed Cryptinfinite completely, before that for not to go through the effort in vain.
Method 1: Use backups
