What is ConvertPDFEasy

ConvertPDFEasy is categorized as a PUP that can hijack popular browsers such as Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla, Edge, and IE. As a rule, it comes to the computer without user consent bundled with freeware’s installers and downloaders. Immediately after installation, this intruder forcibly changes the primary search provider, the homepage, and a new tab of the browser. These settings can be reverted after the virus has been completely removed. Additionally, it starts to display advertising content, such as banners, coupons, and promotional links to websites, and so on. Mac OSX:

1. Open Finder
2. In the Finder sidebar, click Applications
3. If you see Uninstall ConvertPDFEasy or ConvertPDFEasy Uninstaller (or other suspicious apps that you’ve never installed), double-click it and follow instructions
4. Drag unwanted application ConvertPDFEasy from the Applications folder to the Trash (located on the right side of the Dock)

Google Chrome:
