What is BinaryOptimizer?
BinaryOptimizer is a potentially undesirable software that may infiltrate your system without your knowledge. In most situations, it is included with freeware apps or bogus plugins. ProcessSave.app, ManagerPages, ExtraBrowser, ResourceSource, DefaultProducts, PremiumForward, IdeaDetails, and more similar malware applications exist. They all have the same effect and exclusively impact Mac machines. Once installed, they forcefully adjust Safari’s settings and display a pop-up stating that Apple wishes to make changes and requesting your password. After clicking cancel, a new pop-up window displays with the message “installation complete,” and the only option is to click “OK.” It is designed only for commercial reasons, therefore your system will be inundated with a wide range of advertisements (pop-ups, video/audio adverts, discounts, best deals, etc.). In addition to this, malware is able to cause redirects to make you visit sponsored websites. Therefore, there is a high risk to end up on a malicious website as there is no guarantee that all links provided by this PUP are safe. The only way to avoid this scenario is to remove BinaryOptimizer right now.
