i keep clicking the trash can icon to remove SalePlus and when i bring up my google chrome the next day SalePlus is back. why does SalePlus keep coming back on google chrome after i click the trash can icon to remove it?
Have you removed it from Control Panel? There is persistent module that re-installs extension into Google Chrome browser. If you can’t find SalePlus in Control Panel use SpyHunter or Malwarebytes AntiMalware.
I removed it from the control panel, in the registry, and all of the files, but it stills has SalePlus in my browser extensions. When I right click there are no options to disable or remove it. They’re greyed out. I’m using IE. Somebody please let me know what to do. I reset my IE and everything that I can think of but the little piece of garbage just won’t go away.
There is no possibility to remove extensions directly from Internet Explorer – removing from Control Panel should work for IE. If it did not, that means you clicked “Yes” in the message with red cross icon that SalePlus showed you when you uninstalled it. Or there is entries with other names in Control Panel that keep extension installed in IE. Inspect your programs list carefully and uninstall unknown ones. Use MalwareBytes AntiMalware or SpyHunter to detect adware files and folders.
