What is adTech?
adTech is an add-on that can be installed on the most popular browsers, like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc. adTech is promoted as a program that will assist the user in searching relevant media. When running, the app generates advertisement instead, and thus, can be classified as an adware. The ads will be everywhere and won’t disappear until the user removes adTech both from the browsers and system. On top of that, adTech can pose a threat to PC health in a way of redirections that its ads bring. The third-party websites may be infected, or may use the valuable information on the user collected by the adware.
How adTech gets on your PC?
adTech easily infiltrates the systems on the back of freeware installators. Bundled adware is unseen in Default setup type and gets installed without user’s specific confirmation. It may also sneak to the system, when user visits malicious websites. We may recommend to be attentive both while installing software and don’t skip the steps of Custom installation method, and while browsing the web.
